This beauty flowers in our garden today. It confirms the thumb rule that things in nature which is richly coloured and beautiful often is poisonous. In this case the poison is called opium. The poppy is growing wild in our garden.

  1. I think it is more a matter of convention what you call weed and what you call ornamental plants. Often I like the wild flowers more than the cultivated ones.
